With over 100 built-in tunings, including Open D, DADGAD, and Hawaiian Slack Key, users can explore a wide range of guitar possibilities or even create their own custom tunings to unlock thousands of new chords and scales.

The application utilizes a proprietary algorithm to generate more than 80 different chord types, such as m7 and m7b5#9. This feature ensures that among the thousands of options available, users can easily identify the most harmonically pleasing and accessible chords for any tuning.

For those who enjoy self-exploration, the Reverse Chord Finder allows users to input fingerings to discover new voicings, facilitating a deeper understanding of their musical creations. Additionally, users can visualize notes from their current tuning in various scales and modes, which simplifies composition. The Auto-Tab feature conveniently remembers user-created sequences as they play.

A built-in tuner assists users in achieving precise tuning, regardless of selected tuning styles, by actively listening during play.

While many features of Alt Tunings are available at no cost, an All Access subscription at $4.49 per month unlocks comprehensive access to all chords, scales, and tunings. Furthermore, subscribers gain entry to thousands of expertly curated chords in ChordBank, along with scales, patterns, drills in ScaleBank, and the ability to create a personal library of editable guitar tabs in TabBank.

Upon selecting the All Access subscription, payment is deducted from the iTunes account. The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period. Users will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the conclusion of each subscription cycle.

Management of auto-renewal settings can be adjusted at any time through iTunes Account Settings.
